Nestlé Cerelac Baby Rice Cereal is a gentle, nutritious first food crafted specially for babies beginning their solid-feeding journey from around 6 months. Made from carefully selected single grains and fortified with key nutrients, this smooth-textured rice cereal is easy to digest and ideal for helping infants transition from milk to solids. Each serving provides on average 33% of the recommended daily iron intake, supporting healthy growth and brain development during this important stage.

Enhanced with Probiotic Bifidus BL, similar to those naturally found in the digestive system of breastfed babies, CERELAC supports digestive balance. Vitamin C contributes to immune system function, helping your baby develop strong foundations for future health. With approximately 13 serves per 200g pack (approx. 58c per serve), it offers great value without compromising on quality.

This infant rice cereal can be prepared with water, breast milk or formula, and can easily be mixed with a teaspoon of fruit or vegetable purée to introduce new flavours as your baby grows.

How To Use / Warnings / Storage Advice / Allergy Advice

How to Use:
Wash hands and ensure feeding utensils are clean. In a clean bowl, add 1 tablespoon of CERELAC Baby Rice Cereal. Gradually mix with 4 tablespoons of lukewarm previously boiled water or baby’s regular milk (adjust consistency as needed). Stir until smooth. Feed immediately with a sterilised spoon. Do not keep leftover prepared cereal—discard any uneaten portion.
For flavour variety, mix with a teaspoon of mild vegetable puree (e.g., pumpkin, carrot) or fruit puree (e.g., apple, pear). Using too much water or incorrect proportions may result in poor consistency.

Warnings:
Always read all labels and warnings before purchase or use. For infants 6 months+ only unless advised by a healthcare professional. Do not prepare with very hot water to avoid nutrient loss. Do not feed cereal from a bottle—spoon feeding is recommended. If allergic reactions or digestive discomfort occur, stop using and consult a healthcare professional. Keep powder away from moisture. Use within 30 days after opening. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

The first product was called Farine Lactée and is believed to have saved the life of premature baby boy named Wanner[citation needed]. By 1874, these infant cereals were sold in 18 countries. In the same year, vitamins were added. By 1948, they were marketed across the world. The brand was first registered in 1949.

DELIVERY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Please note that, all the orders shall be delivered from our warehouse. The orders are usually picked by the delivery person within 1 (one) working day from the date of order placement.
  2. It usually takes up to 5 (five) working days within Dhaka City and 10 (ten) working days for countrywide delivery outside Dhaka (postage times are an estimate only, and do not allow for public holidays or high-volume periods).
  3. When your order has been shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number. You can use the tracking number to track the delivery progress. It usually takes 48 (forty-eight) hours for the tracking information to become available. 
  4. If you have not received your order within the estimated delivery time, please contact us at support@samirahan.com, with your name and order number, and we will get back to you within 72 (seventy-two) hours. You can also call our customer care hotline via WhatsApp +8801953330595 or via Messenger, where a customer service representative will assist you with your queries.
  5. In case of any unforeseeable circumstances, if we cannot ship your order against which you already have made a full payment, we shall communicate that to you within 48 (forty-eight) hours and shall make a full refund to you within the next 72 (seventy-two) hours.
